Monica is thinking,
"Or sold on the market to the highest bidder."
"But there's the rub," Tigh counsels, "We still
have the three original prototypes in our possession."
"With off-the-shelf parts," Omega ponders, "Why
if someone was determined enough, they could almost build a shake-the-box
version of a Black Viper."
"Maybe for sale on the Black Market," Rigel ventures.
"Or with the costs over-runs, a private fleet, if one so
desired," Athena observes.
"Which returns us to the question at hand," Adama
slowly paces accross the front of the anteroom, 'We are confronted by a
civilization that has desired our people either enslaved or extermintaed for
over a millenia, now observing a cease-fire. We also have parties unbeknownst
to us, watching over our shoulders during a mission of mercy, and we have
what is beleived to be the remains of a Colonially-designed starfighter
project that had been classified. And furthermore," Adama continues,
"the remnants of said starfighter are strewn and scattered accross an
outlaw facility which is presently being occupied by an enemy, former or
present,"
Adama places his hands behind his back and turns to face those assembled,
"And therein lies the question, what is missing from this picture?"
