epilog-scurry  twentyfour

"I am surprised that your father would leave the Colonies so close to the beginning of the Jubilation," Starbuck comments, "Seems like President Adar might pin a medal on him or something."
"He has considered that," Apollo smiles slightly, "I guess duty does have its merits."
Apollo turns and motions for the two to follow him.
Before they exit, Starbuck asks, "Boomer, you haven't seen Scurry around here anyplace, have you?"
Boomer shrugs, "What would you want with Scurridae just now?"
"Well there is this trifling matter about a small indebture," Starbuck explains, "However if the indebted party is not present at the time of offer of promissary," Starbuck shrugs.
"There's nothing that you can do," Boomer shakes his head, "I would guess that the promissary is the furthest thing from our friend's mind just now," Boomer observes, "Our friend Scurry is probably long gone by now, and is safely back home, snuggled between clean sheets."
"Oh well, at least I tried," Starbuck offers, and as he follows Boomer off, observes, "What a lucky guy..."
